The song was written by #SavanKotecha, #IlyaSalmanzadeh, #ToveLo, #MaxMartin and #AliPayami; the latter two also produced it. Goulding was selected to provide vocals to the track. It was released on 7 January 2015 as the second single from the soundtrack. The song was also included on Goulding's third studio album.

Anastasia is almost finished college when she meets businessman Christian who is really rich. He's mean to her so she says she can't be with him. But then she decides to stay when he's MEANER to her. So that doesn't make sense at all. In the end she comes to her senses, but it's a pretty big plot hole. Also the writing is really bad.
