These are some of my most anticipated Libby holds.

Glorious Rivals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes is the sequel to The Grandest Game. I liked the Grandest Game and the different characters that were introduced. I am most excited to read more about Grayson Hawthorne and his interactions with Lyra Kane.

Accomplice to the Villain by Hanna Nicole Maehrer is the third book in the Assistant to the Villain series. I can't wait to see where Evie and the Villain’s relationship will lead. I especially want to read more about Kingsley’s story.

These are two books that I want to read before I watch the tv adaptions.

The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood is about a dystopian society that abides by strict rules. I have heard of this show and want to read the book before watching it.

We Were Liars by E. Lockhart is labeled as a mystery book, which explains the short, nonspecific blurb. I want to watch the tv show because Candice King is a part of it.

If You Could See the Sun by Ann Liang is about a girl who user her new invisibility power to find out her classmates secrets to sell in order to pay for her tuition at an elite international boarding school.

This has been on my tbr for a while, and I am hoping that it is a nice break before I begin the next book for Book Club.

I am hoping that apart from finishing Women Who Love Too Much and A Curse For True Love, I am hoping to also read Stuck Up and Stupid and Local Missing Woman.

I saw that Stuck Up and Stupid is supposed to be like a modern version of Pride and Prejudice, and it was an automatic must-read for me. I really hope that this is truly similar to Pride and Prejudice since it's one of my favorite love stories.

Local Missing Woman is going to be our August book club read. I am hoping to slowly get into the Fall reading mood with this book.

July was full of 5-star reads!

I was able to finish the first two books of the Once Upon A Broken Heart series, and they were better than I expected. I was so excited to see more of Jacks and his character development, and he did not disappoint. He is hilariously melodramatic with his blue hair, and his quips. I liked how Evangeline went from wishing to be a part of a fairy tale to being in one. Her view on true love is both admirable and concerning because of the way that she seems to risk herself trying to save her true love. The Ballad of Never After ends with a cliffhanger, and I am excited to find out what happens next.

Say You’ll Remember Me was such a rollercoaster of emotions. I loved the way both Samantha and Xavier both fell in love from the beginning. However, they had to do a very long distance relationship while dealing with their economic and familial obligations. There were times in the book that I thought their relationship would come to an end because everything seemed to be against them. But I am glad they tried to prevail. Overall, this book was a wonderful break from OUABH and Women Who Love Too Much.

I am currently finishing the Once Upon a Broken Heart series by Stephanie Garber.

This series has taken me out of my reading slump, and I really hope that it does not put back into one when I finish the final book.

The third and last book, A Curse for True Love, continues Jacks and Evangeline’s story. After the cliffhanger in The Ballad of Never After, I can't wait to see what happens next, especially since Apollo is no longer cursed.

Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez is about Emma and Justin and how their quick summer fling has the potential to turn into something more. However, Emma’s issues with her mom and Justin’s new guardianship of his younger siblings make their potential relationship more complex.

People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry follows Poppy and Alex. In the past, an annual summer trip was a tradition between the two best friends. But after their last summer trip two years ago left them in bad standing, Poppy convinces Alex to go on a summer trip with her to try to fix their friendship.

The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas follows Catalina and Aaron as they try to convince Catalina’s family into believing that their fake relationship is very much real at her sister’s wedding.

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren follows Olive and Ethan as they pretend to be a newlywed couple on a free honeymoon after Olive’s twin sister, Ami, and Ethan’s brother, Dane, get food poisoning at their wedding.

Both of these books are great reads for those who enjoy enemies to lovers romance books.

I want to be realistic with my reading goal for this month since it seems that the reading slump is not easily going away.

I will focus on finishing the two books I started last month, Women Who Love Too Much and Once Upon A Broken Heart.

If I finish those two books, then I will also try to read One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig. This book is part of a fantasy duology that has been on my tbr since the beginning of my reading journey in May.
