Hope you enjoy! This fic really did demand to be written as a darker bookend to this fic (you don't need to have read it first) and kinda wrote itself haha, so it was a whole thing.

Also, worldbuilding! I really do enjoy exploring magic in the KH world and it's implications..... especially the idea of Grand Magic and how some magic lingers around afterwards if it was especially powerful.

Also also, headcanon here is that power in the KH series isn't really about technique + strength, it's much more about strength of heart and emotions which makes all the difference.

both are post-canon fics about a character who expected his life to be one long string of tragedies now navigating the happy ending he's accidentally found himself in.

also, both feature a husband who's on a work trip and a visit to the in-laws. (i really do think the second fic must have been inspired by the first.)
