Saturday #Workout:
10 minutes of yoga.
22.8 KM of #Cycling (25°C, 28 humidex, 50% humidity, and 14 KM/H wind).

Morning of reading and tea, a longer ride than I've been getting lately, and then, off to a celebration of life for one of the people I worked with for years during #FestivalLife who was kind to me when I started out. Thirty-eight is too young.

I don't like funerals or things like this; too many people and I don't process grief this way, so it's always an awkward social thing for me.

@EllenInEdmonton I admit, I was pretty aggressive in piling on KMs, though I don't believe that was the issue. Now that I'm in #FestivalLife mode, there isn't really time for lots of running anyway, so I'll take advantage of the time for some recovery.

Friday #Workout:
10 minutes of yoga.
20 minutes of strength training.
8.1 KM of #Cycling (23°C, 31 humidex, 89% humidity, and 12 KM/H wind).
2.7 KM walking.

I know, I know. I forgot to post yesterday's workouts (30 mins of yoga, ~5km of walking, an 8KM of cycling). Busy day.

Today was hot. Stopped the strength workout to move into a room with AC.

Hid in our trailer (with AC) as much as I could. #FestivalLife

Biked home, then walked with @TAV for our summer COVID vaccination. Then, ice cream!

Tuesday #Workout:
45 minutes of yoga.
8.7 KM of #Cycling (27°C, 42% humidity, and 10 KM/H wind).
153 minutes of strength training.
5.9 KM of cycling home.

Started day off with a lot of yoga, figuring I'd benefit from a bunch of stretching before today's move to site, biking out, getting a flat tire in Hintonburg, a couple of hundred metres from Full Cycle, who had me rolling in 20 minutes. Caught up with the team, finished loading the truck, lunch, unloaded the truck. #FestivalLife has begun!

Saturday #Workout:
11 minutes of yoga for runners.
5 minutes of strength training (tea-brewing movement snack).
10 KM of #Walking & #Running (18°C, 95% humidity, and 15 KM/H wind).

Morning of reading and tea, then went out for my walk. After the first KM, I decided I'd try out 100m of running. Went okay, so next KM, added some more until I got to 750W/250R for the last KM. Knee feels … okay. Of course, I start #FestivalLife next week, so my activity levels will be affected.

Sitting in the shade waiting for a technician to show up. Next week, things start in earnest for #FestivalLife.

Friday #Workout:
11 minutes of yoga for runners.
20 minutes of strength training.
27 KM of #Cycling (13°C, 72% humidity, and 7 KM/H wind).

Good workouts, and the ride was quick (for me), I was following someone who was moving at a really quick clip for a while and kept it up as long as I could.

Once I got home, showered then walked into the Market for a meeting to sort out some stuff for the upcoming start of #FestivalLife.

Got really windy; two branches on the tree out front came down. :-(

#449 - €12,- voor een lauw Festival Biertje?! - JACK&JOZEF - Real.Raw.Everyday.

Alles wordt duurder, strenger, veiliger, maar ook beperkter. Een simpel feestje, een volkse markt, wordt opgeslokt door wetten en regels.

Moeten we dat gewoon accepteren?

@sebastianhahn @maaikees Things will change for me in June, then I'll probably be seeing 100± people a day once #FestivalLife starts.
