Muy raro que un documental @arte no tenga subtítulos, es la primera vez que veo un video de #ARTE sin italiano, castellano, polaco... Pero para los que entienden alemán o francés, muy recomendable la serie documental de Timo Novotny sobre sistemas de metro de Europa. Espero que algún día haga un capitulo sobre el metro de Kyiv que sirve de refugio antiaéreo, escuela y centro cultural. Mientras tanto, molan los de Praga y Napoles.

And while I eat at #Murcia, another knowledge bit: that grey tower is more than just an ERTMS antenna, it's a lateral wind detector. If there's too much wind, it limits the track speed to keep trains safety in HSR.
Mientras como en Murcia, otro dato: esta torre gris no es solo una antena de #ERTMS, es también un sensor de viento lateral. Cuando hay mucho viento, limita la velocidad del tramo, para preservar la seguridad de los trenes en Alta Velocidad.

I'm on my 6th train of the day, another Regional from #Cartagena to #Murcia (stoping at #TorrePacheco and #Balsicas). Here you have some interesting stuff I've found at Cartagena Renfe station: An old document from the #MZA Company and a geographical 3D map of the region. The last one is very old, it has the rail link Murcia~Almería and also the line of #Torrevieja (both closed and destroyed, but a new HSR connection with #Almería is being made for the Mediterranean Corridor).

The seats are more like a bus, but as the line is short, it's confortable enough. I've went just to #LaUnion, because I've needed to take a train on #Cartagena (I'm on it right now hehe, back to #Murcia). Here in #Spain, all the #Feve lines are in the North (Basque Country, Galicia, etc), but this one in Murcia is the exception. (Other lines where given to Autonomic Administrations: #FGV, #FGC...)
