Back in time - June 2021.

Fenton Tower is a historic tower located near North Berwick in East Lothian, Scotland. It is a striking example of a Scottish tower house, which were common defensive structures built in the late medieval period. The tower is situated in a picturesque countryside setting, surrounded by fields and woodlands. At the side of Fenton Tower is Fenton Lodge which is where we stayed whilst in North Berwick.

Fenton Tower is a popular location for TV and film shoots and has been used already by the BBC as a location for Balamory.

The tower is located 20 miles east of Edinburgh, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.

The John Muir Way passes nearby for walking enthusiasts, and the East Lothian coast offers not just stunning scenery but also extraordinary opportunities for bird-watchers.

Fenton Tower is a fortified 16th-century tower located between Gullane & North Berwick in East Lothian, Scotland. It has been restored to provide luxury accommodation for up to 13 guests.

It is a 5-star exclusive use property and event venue available for weddings, family get-togethers, special birthdays and anniversary celebrations, vacations, etc. Next to the lodge is Fenton Lodge for a further 4 guests (this is where we stayed)
