Was für ein wahnsinns Tag bei #Bruichladdich. Heute Vormittag Master Class mit Adam Hannett und im Anschluss Rock'ndaal bei unfassbar tollem Wetter. 😄 Whisky des Tages ist auf alle Fälle der Yellow Submarine 14yo - richtig leckerer Stoff und kommt noch zu den Laddie Crew-Läden. Hier beim #FeisIle war er im Handumdrehen ausverkauft. #Islay

Vormittags bei der #Islay Woolen Mill und bei #Bowmore vorbei geschaut. Danach beim #Lagavulin Open Day und mit dem Boot zurück nach Port Ellen. Abendessen im Ballygrant Inn und Rückfahrt mit dem unterhaltsamsten Taxifahrer Schottlands. Was für ein Tag...bin völlig geflasht. #FeisIle #DramTalkOnTour

Illicit Still. Poit Dhubh.

The 'Black Pot' was the colloquial Gaelic for the sma' still that Scottish Highlanders used to distil uisge-beatha. The picture and description of parts comes from Edward Dwelly's famous Gaelic dictionary.
