Rebuilding the OS for the family DVR was not on my #BingoCard today. But here we are. I'm impressed with how easy it was to install #FedoraWorkstation and #MythTV frontend. There are a few little details that I still need to finish. #Fedora

There appears to be a bug in #Fedora 44 with malcontent-timerd service and dnf5daemon-server services not stopping properly at shutdown.

Is anyone else getting stuck with 5 minute shutdowns?

Так бесят эти ошибки из-за китайского зеркала. Да, знаю, Федора в процессе меняет зеркало, но всё же. А копаться с настройках зеркал что-то боюсь. Авось сломаю чего.

Интересно, почему у меня дропаются кадры при вызове меню с рабочими столами в GNOME 49? В ранних версиях GNOME подобного не наблюдалось. Чего там наворитила команда GNOME, что у меня кадры дропаются переодически при нажатии Super? ChatGPT подсказывает, что они изменили что-то в композиторе Mutter и рендеринге интерфейса. Буду надеяться, что в следующей версии данная проблема пропадёт. Да и как показывает поиск, не только у меня есть данный недуг.

I have Fedora 43 loaded on an ASUS ZenBook 14 UM425IA. Since I've updated it from 42 to 43, the wifi card has not connected to my home wifi network. I've removed the connection, forced manual, restarted the computer, reconfigured dhcp on my network and nothing is working. I can only connect via ethernet. Any ideas?
