I think that will be a net positive, as it will cause the corporate capture to happen on #Bluesky, and not on the fediverse. So that gives the #fediverse time to further evolve as the #SocialWeb of the people, where personal #SocialNetworking prevails and a great #culture thrives. Fediverse will be smaller than some #people hoped it would be. But won't see corporate takeover, so it'll also be happier and safer for the #fedizens it offers an online home.

Would it make sense and be of interest if servers mark their location of the server? F.e. USA, EU (sub country), UK, India, Russia, China?

It's often not clear on first sight where it is located. But location makes an big impact on this servers local countries laws.

Back to work after the 3-day Labor Day weekend. 😭 Been a busy day today with rewiring a cart as well as the usual fires to put out, but my #coffee got me through the morning.

Now, to see about lunch soon and then back to it with those laptops I left plugged in that cart I wired up. 💻 ⚡
