TL;DR Looking for 12+ testers to publish Fediverse Android Client on Google Play Store.

Hello Fedipeople and friends of infinite scrolling. Contrary to the #EU we're not backwards oriented.
In fact I have forked and fixed Moshidon, the #Android #Fediverse client.
I'm trying to get it published on the Google Play Store.

I opened a PR with a fix but Moshion's maintainer didn't react and the last release was over 6 months ago, so I forked and set up automated improvements both in terms of performance and security and accessibility.

The app was modernized and migrated to AndroidX and appkit.
It went through 2 ChatGPT weekly subscriptions worth of refactoring and reviews and also manual testing and reviews.
75 commits have been made so far since it was forked from Moshidon.

Really bummed that @ivory has decided to make user experience worse for the sake of consistency with the default Mastodon app and add extra unwanted friction to the process of boosting posts.
