Und hier der dritte Versuch, ein Sauerteigbrot zu backen. Diesmal mit höherem Anteil Roggenmehl und unter Verwendung eines Gärkörbchens. #Backen #Sauerteig #Brot #Fedicooking

Uiiiiii
I was really not sure about champignons, so, i divided them and half of them is baked with cheese and other half is fried on pan
Also same goes for chicken, but mostly because i am a bit tired of only baked

Considering how much oil was used this is probably not really healthy but anyway

Btw only pieces of instructions i followed:
At one place red that you need to wash champignons fast in cold water so they will absorb less of it and it will be easier to fry them
At another found cool idea of stuffing them with cheese and ignored everything else except for photo
At first place red tha you need around three spoons of oil in pan to fry them (i have no idea for how much of them, i just used this because why not)

And! Half of kitchen now covered in oil drops

It looks not really good... tastes same... not bad, just... Next time, i won't try to remember the recipe and will just ask to write it down.....
#fediCooking i guess

Doing this regularly and as extensively as I would like will also require a significant effort to integrate into the rest of life.
But I think my interest in the subject will be able to carry me through.

#FediCooking

For now, however, I will fall back on an absolute minimal version with little interaction myself: I will simply post relevant content from time to time under the hashtag #FediCooking (and/or a more specific one that better fits my basic ideas) according to what I imagined. I may also turn it into a small Fedi blog (#WriteFreely or something similar). Maybe even try out #PeerTube. And maybe others will join in and something will come of it after all - who knows?

I have continued to develop ideas for a #FediCooking concept and will probably share more on my thoughts again later.

But above all, one thing has become clear to me: to get it off the ground as an active project in the way I imagined, I would have to be very actively involved. However, I don't currently have the resources for that, neither the time nor the energy 🥴
Maybe someone else will put it into practice—I'd love to join in 😊

@gorobar one pot meal or weekday favourite is a good start. People can start participating and help u actively plan #fedicooking 😊

(or anyone else interested 👋😊)

Would this kind of concept interest you? Or do you have other thoughts? I’m still pretty open here…

As a possible starting point, I’m thinking about one-pot meals — stew, chili, curry, you name it. I just love the principle and its international variations. Just an idea — I’m totally open here!

Whoever’s “on duty” takes over for a preparation phase (share ingredient list early, clarify questions about tools/ingredients, maybe tease some info beforehand).

On the actual day: depending on what works, there could be a livestream (with recording), a video, or even just a photo blogpost. The “chef of the day” stays available for questions and support. After a fixed time, the next person takes over.

I haven’t fully defined what it could look like yet, but here are some thoughts:

It would need some kind of closed (at least on the writing side) communication space. Maybe a messenger group.
Limited to a manageable number of participants (singles or couples/families).

Everyone can suggest their recipes. These are then assigned in a fixed rotation (focus on “everyone gets a turn” and variety) — for example, monthly.
