This movie hits differently at 52 than at 32. A bleak movie that sends time running short pings to midlife doldrums. Birth, school, work, death-level doom.

Need motivation to get going? The clock's ticking. Could you do your life before it's too late? Schmidt is the warning.

Pavements (Alex Ross Perry, 2024)

I cried watching. Was it nostalgia and middle age? Watching with my teen daughter? Ignoring societal suffocation to revel in the community of the film's third act?

W ciul słabe. Efekty jak w pl wiedźminie z gumowym smokiem. Aranżacja klasyki w połączeniu z globalna kontrolą sieci mogło wyjść fajnie, ale ten cały film sypie się jak system emerytalny. Klasyka SF zasługuje na więcej. A tu bieda straszna.

Bonus für mich: Ganz dolle brecht’sche Verfremdungseffekte, inkl. Speed Run durch die Jazz-Geschichte.
