Newbie Sessions #1 with DJ Baral

This is my first recorded set! I started with Super8 & Tab's fantastic tune, XX, and then just let the music flow and guide me. This set contains some of my favorite high-energy trance tunes, and varies between 136bpm-140bpm. Since I'm still learning, don't expect polished perfection - there are a few minor errors in this mix - but even so, I wanted to post this as a baseline benchmark of my skills at this early point in my musical journey. Feedback is VERY welcome - please feel free to let me know what works and what doesn't, just make sure to keep any criticism constructive. That said, even with the few errors I'm pretty pleased with the overall vibe. I had a lot of fun putting this set together, and I hope you enjoy it too! ❤️🐲

Once I get going, I want to try to upload once a week, but we'll see how that goes lol. I might end up posting more or less, just depending on how I feel about my mixes - expect cringe! But I'm excited to restart this journey and get serious about music!

The obligatory ‘car commute listen’ has been completed. I’m rather happy with this one, despite at the time thinking it was below par. Ignoring the incredibly dodgy blend halfway through when smooth echo caught me out, this is a solid 7.5.
