Organizers Log:
I got some pricing information from SFU (SImon Fraser University) about possibly using one of their locations for FediCon 2026.
Right now I am just posting about it using the #FediCon and #FediCon2026 hash-tags.

Organizers Log:
The person who I talked to at SFU (Simon Fraser University) about trying to find a location for FediCon 2026 suggested I talk to someone else at SFU about a location for FediCon 2026.
I did. They responded.
Organizers Log:
I just talked to someone at SFU (Simon Fraser University) about trying to find a location for FediCon 2026.
He is a friend-of-a-friend.
We talked about what we would need for FediCon, in terms of a location, etc.
He needs to ask around (internally at SFU).
Hopefully, can get more details this or next week.
Organizers Log:
I have been looking for a new location for FediCon 2026.
The location we used for FediCon 2025 is very nice — but also very expensive. (I paid for it out of my own pocket.)
I am trying to find a new location that is either less expensive or, if possible, free.
I'd like to try to keep the ticket prices low. And, one of the biggest things that goes into the ticket price is the cost of the location
I'm so excited for #Fedicon2026, I had a blast meeting some of you in person at this years FediCon, and hope more of you can join us next year!
I wish it lasted longer, the after parties were lit 🔥
