I was watering the yard after scattering a bunch of wildflower seeds, then I heard a familiar sound. These two hawks were circling overhead.

Whenever I dig around in the garden and come across earth worms, I try to gently put them to the side, then I toss them back into the yard. They're very useful creatures so I try not to kill them. But if a bird gets them before they make it back underground it's fair game. Looks like my blackbird friend found today's pretty sizable haul 😂
