Whilst I was looking for grass snakes in the grass, I walked right past a bush. When I looked up, a young black crow was sitting there, completely still. I said hello, took a photo, and left it in peace.

Went for a walk with my wife in the dunes. Of course there is room to enjoy nature, but not for comprehensive observation. So I was surprised to see two lifers: a wood warbler and a slow worm. Maybe the slow worm counted half because it’s tail is missing. See alt text for possible explanation.
