Alexander Goeres 𒀯and again talking heads. way back, when i was young i got me on of their records from my pocket money: fear of music. and one of these songs was totally cryptic: i zimbra. it might have been some unkown language ... but i couldn't figure out what it was.
well; as a german teen, with english texts i was used to ignore the parts i didn't get. that's what everybody does with foreign text here. i really liked this songe, even though i didn't understand a single word ... but decades later i noticed: it was no nonsense, it was dada. just like kurt schwitters ...
i still wonder, how do you compose a song about a text when you don't understand a single word ..
