XanathonProject "Ditch Photoshop": What I really miss in alternatives is content aware heal or replace, since I very (!) often have to retouch or remove minor details (and clone stamp is not good enough or takes way too much time). But actually there is a plugin for Krita that lets me use a local AI algorithm server for exactly this use case. Installed: works. Only drawback ist that I have to run the render machine if I want to use it, since that is the only one with a powerful enough GPU. On the othe5r hand, I can use the server on that machine from any computers in the local network, be it from office, living room or laptop.
Another thing is "select object" and/or "remove background". There's a plugin for that, but it was not yet updated for Krita 5.3/6.
