Il tema è la relazione conclusiva della Procura generale di Milano sulla nuova istruttoria che ha rivalutato l’iter che ha portato al provvedimento di grazia per l’ex consigliera regionale Nicole Minetti.
Gomez sottolinea che nel comunicato della procura generale “si scrive che non è stata fatta la rogatoria, perché non si poteva fare, quindi non hanno sentito la testimone che noi abbiamo intervistato”. “Non hanno fatto altri atti di indagine, se non appoggiandosi all’Interpol, ma hanno stabilito sulla base delle indagini difensive, e di qualcuno che hanno sentito, che non è vero quello che ha detto a noi la testimone”.
Continua il direttore de ilfatto.it: “Noi non facciamo le inchieste per far revocare qualcosa, noi abbiamo fatto un’inchiesta per raccontare una storia alla luce di un fatto preciso. La decisione di graziare Nicole Minetti ha provocato un enorme sconcerto dell’opinione pubblica perché è una decisione che è stata scoperta per caso perché è stata tenuta segreta inizialmente per motivi legati alla presenza di un minore. Dopodiché abbiamo avuto delle notizie, le abbiamo raccontate con nome e cognome e prendiamo atto che le notizie che abbiamo raccontato non vengono considerate vere senza sentire la fonte da cui provengono. Curioso”. Ad ogni modo, assicura Gomez, “le inchieste del Fatto non finiscono qui”.

The topic is the final report of the Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office on the new investigation that reassessed the process that led to the act of grace for former regional councilor Nicole Minetti.

Vannacci attacks Forza Italia. According to Il Fatto: “Marina Berlusconi doesn’t want us in the coalition? A party directed by money and the media.”

He says he wants to talk about national future, yet he doesn’t hesitate to criticize other right-wing parties, especially Forza Italia, and also Noi Moderati led by Maurizio Lupi, whose “barking doesn’t even reach 1%.” And the Lega, of course, although without mentioning the old comrade, Matteo Salvini. But when he looks up at the sky, ridiculing him over the snap elections, he’s referring to him. This is a sign that within the coalition supporting the government, Roberto Vannacci is causing more than one headache. And he, having no roles other than the leadership of the party that will officially be born in 20 days, has an easy time firing off broadsides. He has nothing to lose and everything to gain. Polls, party members, committees, politicians joining his movement – and the result in Vigevano – currently give him reason.

Vannacci is at Pirelli. To his left is Luca Daniel Ferrazzi, to his right Pietro Macconi. They are the two regional councilors just arrived at Fn. The general answers questions about the local government – the tensions with Attilio Fontana, his support for his government – but it’s on national politics that he is most sharp-tongued. “Marina Berlusconi doesn’t want us in coalition? Is she speaking on behalf of someone? Does she do so because she’s the president of Mondadori? I don’t see that she’s the national secretary of Forza Italia. And anyway, I don’t need to print any more books.” And when he’s pointed out that Antonio Tajani meets with him as often as Pier Silvio Berlusconi, he repeats: “So what does that mean? Are we saying that some Italian parties are directed by money and publishing?” Rhetorical question, from his point of view. And specifically concerning a possible alliance including FI, Vannacci’s words are more nebulous: “Coalitions are made on projects, ideals, and values, not on parties. If we don’t break our red lines, which are non-negotiable, there’s total willingness for me.”

An opening is thus left, but respecting certain conditions.
One point, at least in the communication strategy, is clear: Fn will go its own way. As long as it’s not the time to choose which side to take: alone or in coalition. And here Vannacci reiterates it, incidentally putting Matteo Renzi in the middle: “He would sell his soul to be in my position, he lives off games of power and balancing the scales. These things don’t interest me. We want to grow as much as possible.”

In recent days, Paolo Sisto, a prominent Lega figure and deputy minister of Justice, declared “better with Calenda than with Vannacci.” And here the MEP formerly from the Lega continues on a sarcastic thread: “They are free to choose who they want, as, for example, they do in Europe, when they vote with the PD. They address an electorate that sees their left-leaning, less fashionable position with great criticism.” The concept comes up again when he speaks more generally about the right-wing: “Sometimes they play the role of an unfashionable left, perhaps for this reason they’re losing credibility, on one hand, and administrators, on the other. They put their hands out because they’re uncomfortable on the chair they’re sitting on.”

Elections, Travaglio on La7: “De Luca? It’s paradoxical that the only important victory for the center-left is the symbol of the bosses/elites.”

This municipal election is wrongly considered a test for the government. They are tests for the candidates in individual cities. Whoever picks the right candidates, who has governed well, or who has created a very strong system of power wins. That’s what Fatto Quotidiano editor Marco Travaglio comments on Otto e mezzo, on La7, regarding the results of the latest municipal elections, emphasizing how the center-right has confirmed its strength where it has wisely chosen its candidates.

The case of Venice is particularly noteworthy, where outgoing mayor Luigi Brugnaro’s “system” withstood difficulties without any problems. “I don’t really understand – Travaglio observes – how they were hoping the Venice system put in place by Brugnaro could be shaken by the case of the concertmaster, which many of our colleagues became so passionate about. I never understood why the Venetians should reject the center-right because they had appointed Venice to the Phoenix or because there had been a mess between the government and Buttafuoco for the Biennale, which is not only a national but an international case.”

He continues: “They found Venturini, that is, an excellent candidate, then I don’t know how he will be as mayor of Venice, but he’s a 38-year-old former civic scout who served as an assessor with Brugnaro and was infinitely more appealing than the Pd candidate.”

On the other side, the center-left presented Andrea Martella, a long-standing parliamentarian, defined by Travaglio as “a lovely person” but with limited appeal compared to the opponent’s fresh profile. The Fatto editor spares no criticism of the Pd, ironically highlighting the paradox of the center-left’s most significant victory: that of Vincenzo De Luca in Salerno.

“We’ve seen bosses one after another in these elections – Travaglio observes – and it’s paradoxical that the only important victory of a center-left man is precisely the symbol of the bosses, that is, Vincenzo De Luca, who takes back Salerno for the fifth time: mayor for five terms and regional president for two.”

The editor denounces the absence of a law on leadership renewal: “Tell me if it’s possible that in 2026 there isn’t yet a law that mandates renewal and breaks certain clientelistic relationships in the cities. But it is legitimate and therefore he returns for the fifth time to be mayor in a city devastated by 60 skyscrapers that looks like Manhattan, but more ugly. However, this is the verdict of the citizens.”

The journalist concludes with a direct jab at Pd Secretary Elly Schlein: “She was elected with the promise to eliminate the bosses and capibastones, and at the European elections she won by sending all the bosses and capibastones with a handful of mandates on their shoulders.
