This is the thin end of the wedge, make no mistake if this isn't beaten down at the Supreme Court then it will open the floodgates for all sorts of oppression. Independence movements, any criticism of Israel or the USA or the UK government and much more will be at risk.

The bought soul that is in a jar on a shelf in Netanyahu's office with "Starmer" on the label is worthless. But the jar next to it with "Farage" on it will suddenly become priceless and our clown show UK government will have handed the apparatus for total oppression to Reform UK, Ltd.

Watch any decent documentary about the rise of Fascism in 1930s Europe and then show me where the differences are from what is happening now?

* A zealot who seems to be able to sway people with racist ideas is backed by financiers who think they can profit from his actions.

* These financiers own and control the mass media channels consumed by large portions of the population and seed then promote the idea that their candidate is a valid politician no matter how often they fail to actually convince voters.

* A small cult finally rises around a central figure and the reinforcement of their ideology goes into overdrive.

* Groups of people are de-humanised and constantly blamed for things they are not responsible for.

* The press and media back this up and in many cases amplify it. Portraying racism and reactionary lies as "an alternative view" to be balanced with actual facts.

* "Traditional" political groups and politicians start leaning into the hateful rhetoric in the mistaken belief it will benefit them.

* Tragic events involving "the right sort of people" committing crrimes are ignored but any transgression by a member of the de-humanised group(s) is declared a cause for "protest" and leads to violence.

* Despite openly causing the violence and unrest, the media and government take no action against the agitators.

...

* Kristalnacht, "legal" oppression, desensitisation to oppression and then mass recruitment...

It is already happening in the USA, it is close to happening in many other places, right now the UK is on the verge of a tipping point. Will people believe the reality yet? Will non-white business owners be targeted next? Will people believe the reality once their local take-away and convenience stores are burned out?

I am in a very deep state of despair and struggling very hard to understand how people can keep letting this happen.

So the net tightens in the UK.

We can no longer stay in Europe for more than 3 months so can't live there any more.

If a citizen receives entitlements they must return from abroad before one month or it's fraud.

Also the government has open access to check your bank account financials digitally at any time.

Reminds me of the time they outlawed 'repetitive beats' to 'combat the rave culture'.

People are still jailed for herbs.

New mass prisons being built.

I hate it.

I'm also very uneasy about hiding the UK politics of today behind a CW. It is my view that everyone should be "encouraged to become aware" of what their government are doing to them.
