I'm about 1/3 of the way through reading Alternative Liberties, the latest anthology from Bob Brown's B Cubed Press, a publisher who had run two of my stories in the anthology that came out immediately before this one. The standouts for me in the first third of the book were the ones by Adam-Troy Castro, Paula Hammond, and Karen G. Anderson.

Dear white people, we also die in plane crashes, we can get very sick & die from bad food & drugs, we die from gun fire, we get very ill and die from starvation, we get worse & die from untreated/mistreated illnesses & injuries….
