Does anyone have any tips on using a vertical monitor with Windows?
I've found #FancyZones with #PowerToys, which allows me to split a monitor into 3 zones, but find that a lot of applications don't render well in the constrained format :(
The "referencing large documents" use case is only an occasional one; I was more optimistic that 3 zones would be more usable, but so far it's pretty bad :(

Just found the best extension on Gnome for creating custom snap layouts! Check out gSnap:

Honestly, I was shocked how much nicer #Windows11 is for #server use than #windows10
Sure it's mostly just command line stuff and web page stuff, but the UI is way nicer with #fancyzones on windows 11 and I got #ssh working a lot faster on windows 11 than on 10 (Theoretically its the same process but 10 can't seem to figure it out)
Obviously #linux beat both in terms of streamlined installation and #xfce is way nicer looking than windows layout, but credit where it's do and all.
