On Children’s Day in Japan (5 May)
My son and many other kids frantically jumped to catch the flying carp-shaped windsocks (koinobori). The wish for children to grow strong and resilient—symbolised by carp swimming upstream—was vividly embodied in the scene.

A glimpse into the BasBaz darkness.

This video presents two portraits of my nephew, Giova 1 and Giova 2, drawn from a photo taken just hours after his birth. The works were printed on plexiglass for the first time using bestecanvas.nl – rarely do I promote services, but the quality and prices were incredible (NOT sponsored). With a special appearance by Jaxie the Cat, who dropped by out of curiosity to see what was happening for #Caturday.
