I have nothing left to give this day or this year. I'm at 110% of my billable target. I want to quit and also take a nap but APPARENTLY there are things I need to do. Like a hearing in an hour and a half. Sigh.
"Being a lawyer" is the last thing on my list of things I want to do today.
Some days family law is really hard. Some days, a client leaves you a review and calls hiring you "the best decision [they] ever made."
Gotta keep the good days in mind.
Met my billable hour requirement for the week by 9:30am this morning. My motivation to work has gone out the window. If you need me, I'll be here, trying to make myself look productive.

Today my paralegal made me a color coded calendar to do list with everything I need to do between now and when the office closes for Christmas on the 16th. I love her.
I billed 9.2 hours today. RIP.
