NC Countdown to College offers a fantastic opportunity for students to apply to many colleges and universities in North Carolina without paying application fees, allowing them to save money and apply stress-free. Meanwhile, the North Carolina State Fair is taking place all day at the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh, where visitors can enjoy rides, food, and entertainment at one of the state’s biggest annual traditions. Additionally, the Sculpture in the Garden event is open from 9 AM to 5 PM at the NC Botanical Garden in Chapel Hill, inviting guests to stroll through beautiful garden art installations that blend nature and creativity, with free admission and a suggested donation of $5.

The Total Tot Time: Free Play Program for Kids, designed for ages 5 and under, will take place from 10 AM to 12 PM at the W.D. Hill Recreation Center in Durham.
