Relating to the previous post about the #WeymouthLaser display lights, these are the original #FairyLights, which had been delighting visitors for decades, without problems. They were removed because the "posts were unable to take the weight of the cables". Other seaside resorts kept theirs and replaced incandescant bulbs with LED's where necessary.
