Another delightful #NoKings protest for the (very small) #Fairbanks #Alaska Frog Brigade.

I especially enjoy convincing protest dogs that the giant frogs are friends who will pet them, but waving at wide-eyed children is a close second.

(The hard part is remembering to keep my human head down, so my frog head isn’t staring at the sky the whole time. 🙇🏻🐸)

A sliver of crescent moon in the aurora, Friday night over the Goldstream Valley. The moon was only about 3% illuminated. Thin enough that it barely competed with the aurora, but it added something to the scene that's hard to describe. In longer exposures, you can see the full disk lit by earthshine; in shorter ones, only the bright crescent.
