I saw a headline in the #failed New York Times: "It's time to talk about President #Trump's logorrhea".

As if, after a lifetime of disassembling, exaggerations, and purposeful deceit, what we need to understand about this man is that he simply talks a lot. The word "logorrhea" almost sounds sympathetically medical.

Logorrhea is not medical.

It is bullshit, plainly.

Another way to put it might be "pointless, distracted rambling", or else "time-wasting prattle". (The rhetorical jersey for "bloviating" was sadly retired after the death of Rush Limbaugh, though "pompous" tests well with focus groups as a replacement[1].)

It's easiest, I find, to think of the phenomenon as "Trump lost track of which lie he was in the middle of telling again."
