I was hanging on to my old X account to keep up with international news and the cybersecurity community, but as I scrolled through my feed this morning, a shitty post by some account I don't even follow was shoved into the mix (I only use the "Following" tab; "For You" is an invitation to madness), NOT labeled as an ad, and I realized I can't justify using it anymore. #Mastodon has been such a better experience these last few weeks that I'm just gonna run with you all now.

Tonight @Kuniti_shino needs to raise $20-$30 to cover EV charging so mizu can go get the SNAP/EBT card from an annoyingly distant county office (counties in this area are pooling services in adjacent counties sometimes).
The Vulpibus also needs fuel, around $180 worth.
The most recent money went to groceries, props for the rest of the solar panels, electronics parts cleaner fluid for the bus engine connections and a sillcock key for ease of water access in towns and cities.
