It looks like I did cabling but it is in fact lace.

I have started a new FOYAL WIP, which is much smaller than a shawl (it is a cowl) but I still likely won't finish it in time before the event ends, thereby checking off one more Bingo square!
If I do finish it in time, well, I have enough yarn for three cowls, so I will likely just start another one. xD
Here is the completed shawl!
I have knitted the "Candace" shawl designed by Anniken Allis:

I did it all for the Fasten Off Yarn-A-Long 2024, my first FOYAL. :3 I cast on, knitted, bound off, blocked, and repaired a dropped stitch hole all in under a month!
I'm not sure if the yarn is homespun or not, I purchased it almost ten years ago from a yarn store that no longer exists, it's possibly homespun and very well made and absolutely lovely. I suspect it is wool but I do not know for sure.
Finished the knitting portion! Now I just need to weave in the ends and block! Looking so good in the rainbow!!
I did it! Twice! Two slipper socks, my first socks ever. Very happy with how they turned out. 🎉🎉 Just in time for Christmas for the recipient.
I had to start over several times but I am officially halfway through knitting my first sock and learning the magic loop technique. This is a slipper sock in bulky yarn...now to learn the short row heel thing 😬
I've never made a hat this way and I'm enjoying how simple it is. These were the only knitting needles I had in the right thickness though and they are ridiculously long haha
