We had an open source video game night at our house last night and it was a lot of fun! Some of my family and friends came. There was a mix of kids and grownups. People enjoyed SuperTuxKart. They would grab a controller and play some SuperTuxKart soccer or racing, and then drift off to get pizza or chat with people. After convicing them that the games were for grownups too, I had some intense races with my brother-inlaws ๐๐ ๐ ๐จ !
We also had Luanti available. Fewer people played it because (depending of the game) it's a little harder to play casually. But my 4 y/o and his cousin loved it! They were happily punching blocks and occasionally asking me to do the command to make it daytime. It's so fun to see kids learning how to play a game and really getting into it.
