MIAMI (STATI UNITI) (ITALPRESS) – Il britannico Lando Norris (McLaren) vince la Sprint Race del Gran Premio di Miami, quarto appuntamento del Mondiale di F1 2026. Il campione del mondo in carica precede al traguardo il compagno di squadra, l'australiano Oscar Piastri (+3″7), ed il monegasco della Ferrari Charles Leclerc (+6″2), bravo a scalzare in partenza un disattento Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes). Tante sbavature per il leader del Mondiale, che prende anche una penalità di cinque secondi per track limits e termina sesto dietro al compagno di squadra George Russell, quarto, e Max Verstappen, quinto su Red Bull. “E' stata una bella gara e una buona giornata per il team, che è stato eccezionale nel portare questi aggiornamenti. Faceva molto caldo ed è stata dura, per le qualifiche non penso cambieremo molto. Faremo qualche aggiustamento, penso ci sia ancora margine per migliorare”, le parole a caldo di Norris. “Gli aggiornamenti del team hanno funzionato. Sono soddisfatto della macchina ma non del terzo posto, anche McLaren ha fatto un bel passo in avanti ma non siamo lontani. Partendo in una buona posizione domani potremmo dare loro fastidio”, ha osservato Leclerc. Chiude in settima piazza l'altra Rossa di Lewis Hamilton, che si mette dietro l'Alpine di Pierre Gasly. The defending world champion precedes his teammate, Australian Oscar Piastri (+3.7 seconds), and Monegasque Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc (+6.2 seconds), who expertly overtook a distracted Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) at the start. Many mistakes for the World Championship leader, who also receives a five-second penalty for track limits and finishes sixth behind teammate George Russell, fourth, and Max Verstappen, fifth on Red Bull. “It was a good race and a good day for the team, who were exceptional with these updates. It was very hot and it was tough, for qualifying I don't think we'll change much. We’ll make some adjustments, I think there’s still room to improve,” the hot-off-the-press words of Norris. “The team’s updates worked. I’m satisfied with the car but not with third place, even McLaren made a good step forward but we’re not far off. Starting in a good position tomorrow we could cause them trouble,” observed Leclerc. Reflecting on five instead of three

It’s been a hot minute since I only answered one prompt in a post. Today is one of those days.

Undoubtedly the first one would be waking and offering prayers up. It always seems to be a good thing, okay most of the time. Sometimes I just want to curl back up under the covers and dream of coffee brewing.

Second on the list of gratitude would be of course coffee. My infusion of daily dark roasted delight begins the moment I walk into the kitchen and ends late at night, no wonder my sleeping habits suck.

My favorite number three. Let me stop and have a nicotine neutralizer before answering this one. Ahhh, nicotine and caffeine, what a delightful ritual for a retired truck driver, brings back memories of little dive truck stops across this great land. Back to the answer or it that the answer? no… it isn’t. Let’s put WordPress in this slot. I enjoy reading all your post even though many times I just like them instead of replying. It’s like we are all in a conference room or campfire sitting around telling our stories and enjoying each others company.

FORE! 😁no not golf. number four. [koffee is kicking in] and why isn’t it spelled like this? Everyday things?… The feeling I get when I take a hit. That’s correct, I love the sensation of the first buzz of the day. It isn’t always a wake and bake either, sometimes I don’t enjoy this ritual until late at night when I sit in front of the boob tube but it is a happiness I enjoy everyday.

And number 5 ? Can you guess? I thought so. Music. I mean what could possibly make me happier than pulling out a piece of vinyl and spinning it, letting the groove fill my soul with happiness and energy. This one could be a double edge sword though. I have musical talent coursing in my veins from my moms side of the family. I grew up watching my cuz learn to play and go on forming bands in his life, his sister learning to tickle the ivory, their mom and dad happy and alive while playing. Uncles and cousins making music made me feel alive. Now here I am in the latter stages of life trying to learn about midis and vst’s to imitate the sounds in my head. Until that day arrives [if it ever does] I will continue to spin vinyl and to share YouTube videos of what sounds good to me.
