So I decided to change my information systems lecture for the business students at #fhaachen in the next summer term.

Currently, I'm planning to keep #BPMN, #ER-models, #DB normalization and add #SQL.

Besides that I'm planning to include these #AI topics (one week for each topic):

1. APIs and process automation with n8n
2. Fundamentals of AI and classical AI algorithms
3. Neural Networks
4. LLMs & prompting
5. Vector DBs, embeddings & RAG
6. Ethics of AI systems

T2 hat einen Außentermin an der #fhAachen in #Jülich und ist pünktlich zum Mittag fertig. Auf zu T4 im R4 und eine Jagdeinheit vorbereiten. #sinngebendeBeschäftigung

Gleichzeitig kommt ein Mädel an ihr #Stehblech, nimmt Aussie und #Ballschleuder auf die Wiese🙄

3 Beute(l) sind versteckt, T4 zum suchen geholt, gefunden und dann auf die #Helix rauf zum füttern - zufrieden zum R4 zurück.
Mädel mit Ballschleuder ist schon nicht mehr zu sehen... Unterschiedliche Lebensqualität!

In some of my lectures at #FHAachen, I ask students to create tutorials or blog posts instead of taking a traditional exam at the end of the term.

Here’s one of the results from this term - a really nice tutorial on using #Word templates in #PowerAutomate flows, created by one of my students.

Seeing outcomes like this is exactly what makes me happy at the end of a course!

This limitation doesn’t just disrupt student learning; it also complicates showcasing their work during events like our #FHAachen Open Campus Days (HIT). Export/import options exist, sure, but they’re a Band-Aid, not a real fix.

SAP, why not introduce a free academic version of BTP? A small change during the sign-up process could save a lot of headaches—and goodwill. (2/2)
