Although this velociraptor might disagree, considering this minion is still missing its wings, among other things.

For me, my last #FFXIV_CosyColours art jam was a good opportunity to practice drawing bodies and clothing quickly. I really want to make this #FFXIV fan comic of mine work but producing many similar drawings in a decent time has not been my strong suit. Especially when it comes to humans.
The results give me hope. 
Here are sketches of two mannequins and my Hrothgar in cold weather clothing!

Some of my experiments worked better than others but in the end it was about the experience and practice, not about creating the next Mona Lisa.
Of my own paintings, I like the dodo mount one the most. This oversized fluffy chicken always looks like it stared into the abyss and was scarred for life by what it's seen. And all of us managed to capture the essence of this very well! :D

Last "Cosy Colours" art jam we adapted rules of regular nude drawing classes. Each participant picked a FFXIV mount, posed with them for 15 minutes one after another and then everyone made a painting, short story or a poem within this limited time frame. It was a lot of fun and a good exercise in "just doing the thing" instead of overthinking it, and giving room to little experiments besides. Can recommend! :)
