Transgenic alleles and constructs encoding these tools are now labelled with the more specific term on the appropriate reports. Examples of new sub-categories include split RNA-guided nuclease https://flybase.org/cgi-bin/cvreport.pl?cvterm=FBcv:0009051 and split protease https://flybase.org/cgi-bin/cvreport.pl?cvterm=FBcv:0009031.
