@kimlockhartga Importantly, this highlights the fact that even BEFORE Trump and #ICE and the #ExtremeCourt, our "system of justice" was no such thing. The law is a fraud; it exists to make us think our rights are safeguarded when in fact they are not. We cannot "restore democracy" in the #USA; we never really had it in the first place. And the #ICEstapo is a natural, logical outgrowth of the system of injustice and repression we already had; of things like the Alien and Sedition Acts, the Red Scare, #COINTELPRO.

The only truly meaningful change is fundamental change.
