Your #ExitToCommunity of the day is Eldora ski resort, in the process of being bought by the town of Nederland. Good for the sellers, good for the workers, good for the town.
Still early in the season tho:)
Another thing I'd like to see is a legal protection for Exit to Community. The workers of a supermarket ought to have the legal right to form a co-op and purchase their workplace from its owner. Ideally, customers would get the second option on doing this, although it would be more difficult for them to identify and organise with each other.

The more a nation's economy takes the form of cooperatives, the lower the wealth inequality in that nation.
@sebinthestars IDK if it's suitable or not in this case, but please give some consideration to an "exit to community" -- conversion to a cooperative, with a transition to someone else managing it, possibly with a payout to you for your prior service if the community has the $$.
Last comment on this for 2024. I note that although other Matrix-based commercial hosts are now funding a lot more of the Matrix Foundation costs, the @element company still plays a outsized role in the development of the Matrix protocol. Especially on the funding side.
So I'd be interested to see a blog post from @matthew and the team on what they see their exit from VC looking like.

This talk looks like it'll be very good
