@kevinrothrock i was able to connect one of the payments mentioned in Gugnin's criminal indictment to #Wintermute, the largest crypto market maker and one that is run by a Russian couple (Evgeny Gaevoy and his wife).
i asked evgeny about it and he did not deign to respond, which is interesting because he usually is pretty responsive to anything that might impinge on wintermute's reputation (cc: @kardinal691 @noelreports )
