I am so excited for Evercold. Despite playing FFXIV, I find the static rotations and buff alignment to be a pretty torturous combat system. The evolved combat seems like it will be such a step forward. I am sure it will have its issues, but I will deal with so much BS if it means we can have more job identity, more situational abilities and more on the fly decisionmaking. May e even more RNG for some jobs.
