Next week on #AnEveningOf I'm trying something different. Something I've shamelessly knicked from several YouTubers and adapted for here.
I want to compile the #Fediverse top 10 for a specific year of music. For starters I'm going with #1990
Which songs are valid? Anything released or re-released in 1990. That's it.
What I need from you... A post (or thread depending on your verbosity) listing out, in order, your top 10 tracks for 1990
Please post the tracks in the form Artist - Title, and include the hashtag #Evening1990 in all posts (including each post in a thread).
I will then compile the top 10s and make a Fediverse version for broadcast on #LABR next Monday at 21:00 GMT
I will compare with the actual top 10s of both the US and the UK, and also give some honourable mentions.
Any stories or anecdotes I can find about the tracks I'll use as well.
This is an experiment, but if it goes well, other years will follow.
