Myriad MisadventuresThe last country I visited while living in Spain was France. I had been in Spain for almost two years and didn’t want to leave without seeing Paris so one weekend I took a quick solo trip. I wasn’t there long and mostly just saw some of the important tourist sights, like the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. I enjoyed it but I saw little enough I’d definitely like to go back

After a couple of days in Lisbon we made our way to the last stop on our trip which was Porto. Porto is the second largest city in Portugal and marks the end of the Douro River, which also passes through Zamora, where I was living. Porto was pretty close to Zamora and I heard about it a lot so I wanted to make sure to visit it before I left Spain

Rauf RahmanIt has been almost three years since I stepped outside of Scandinavia for the first time and visited Gdańsk, Poland. One of my best shots on this trip was this one taken from the Town Hall tower, where we can see the famous St. Mary's Church (also known as Crown of Gdańsk). It actually took about 120 years to complete constructing the building!

The next country I went to after our 2014 Christmas trip was Portugal, which is very close to in Zamora. It was part of a trip my friend and I went on during Semana Santa in 2015. We started the trip making our way through Cáceres, Mérida, and Badajoz before getting to Portugal where our first stop was Lisbon. Parts of Lisbon have a lot of hills which make for great photos but we got tired pretty quickly exploring them
