Our poster showed how bio-based solutions from circular sources can replace contentious inputs in organic farming – sparking conversations on sustainability and innovation.

Although busy organizing the event, I (Katharina Schwaiger) enjoyed sharing BIO² with visitors – showing how research connects to global challenges.

🪘 On #InternationalMusicDay, we share a clip from the performance the #KnowAfrica project organised for the #EuropeanResearchersNight.

This piece of music travels back in time and space: a score found among the papers of Capelo and Ivens, taking us back to their expedition to #Angola in 1877-1880. They listened to the African music, they wrote it down in European sheet music, Prof. Vasco Ramalho reinterpreted it and brought it back.
