Plain and inconspicuous flowers, yet so important: European blueberries (or bilberries). Foraging for bilberries is one of our national pastimes later in the summer – at least amongst the older generation. I spent some time photographing their flowers a week ago, but it was difficult to get decent photos of them. I think these two are the "best" I got.
