At the Eurogroup, ministers discussed recent macroeconomic and fiscal developments in the euro area, with a particular focus on fiscal-related issues. Euro area ministers heard from IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva on the conclusions of the Fund’s annual consultation on euro area policies. In inclusive format, the Eurogroup discussed the EU’s economic and energy security, and the economic dimensions of European technological sovereignty.
