The topography of California has always fascinated me, specifically the deserts (mostly the Mojave) of the east. Originally, I believed the Eureka Valley wasn't part of Death Valley, but was pleasantly suprised to learn it's simply an isolated park of the park. (1/2)

If you don’t know, the Neighbor’s Corner cafe in #EurekaValley not only has excellent hot drinks and delicious sandwiches, they also consistently make some of the best merch.

Ex. A, this lovely travel mug, which is matte black with a shiny black cat, and a blurb that says “won’t you be our neighbor?” AND fits in my tiny cup holders.
