I just finished chapter 9, the one set in WWI, and while I'm having an incredibility good time with this game, the boss at the end of this chapter was absolutely terrible.

I'm using save states (I know, I know, some of the spirit of the original games is lost, and whatnot, and honestly, I don't care), and thankfully I saved across phases, and it still took me several tries because of how clunky it all feels.

Other than that? An absolute gem of a game. The narrative structure is great, the story is engaging, and the gameplay is cool.

Ok, so the sanity meter in #EternalDarkness is something to care about and shuld not go too low...

On the other hand, it is SO interesting seeing the tricks the game plays on you when your sanity is at a minimum that I'm never inclined to recover from low sanity 😅
