Eswatini receives third-country deportations from the US

A group of four migrants deported from the United States have arrived in the African nation of Eswatini, under a third-country program that rights groups protest. The latest group Thursday comes after at least two earlier batches since last July. Eswatini says the group includes one Tanzanian, one Sudanese and two Somali nationals. Eswatini says it plans to repatriate them to their home countries and aims to protect their rights and dignity while they are in the small African kingdom. A second deportee from a third country is gearing up for repatriation following the successful repatriation of a Jamaican national last year.
