Somewhere on the socials today, I saw a reference to, and possibly a video of, Esquerita, the flamboyant 50s rocker who pretty much taught Little Richard all his moves. I would have discovered him (and Sister Rosetta) *much* earlier if Big Audio Dynamite had told us their inspirations for this song back in '88...
