English / Mondlango Dictionary

👏 Ido is quite fine, but it's corelatives are quite a mess, so I prefer the more recent Mondlango by the Chinese He Yafu (2002) respecting more the corelatives of Esperanto (but simplifying the 'nenio' into 'nio' -which is even more logiical IMHO) ; noun plurals in -s ; verbs -an -in, -on ; still having the regular -a, -o, -e and -i endings for the different word classes; more words from English - http://www.heyafu.org/mondlango/
/// http://www.mondlango.co.uk/about.php
and having a Facebook group as well ...
Mondlango is an Esperantido that doesn't have accentuated letters (like Ido) but is more inspired by English (thus with a vocabulary closer to Volapük : good is guda in Mondlango, gudik in Volapük; big is biga in Mondlango, bigik in Volapük)
I really like the -an , -in , -on verb endings and the -s for the plurals of nouns, it feels more natural than -as, -is, -os for verbs in Esperanto.
He Yafu has done a good job, but it's still complicated to speak this conlang correctly because of the many differences with Esperanto and Ido, although some are easy enough to adapt like "ay" instead of "kay" for "and" ; nio instead of nenio for nothing, esi instead of esti for "to be"...
But other changes are a bit more difficult ... "or" instead of "aŭ" for "or" ; or not etymogically coherent ... consienco (but conscio and conscia) , disciplo (but disiplino) ...
