And with that, I've finished "Escape from Ever After".
It was a lovely and funny game with lovable characters.
If you enjoy colorful, funny games with turn based combat (who are, I've been told, similar to Paper Mario), I really recommend it.
I still wanna date the dragon!

Quick conclusion: This is a very lovely game with absolutely fun and lovable characters, and if you like colorful, funny fantasy games with turn-based combat, I highly recommend it! - I guess this game is supposed to be like Paper Mario. I never played any Paper Mario games so far, but I guess if you liked those, this is also something for you. -- I really liked the game.
Okay, there was a SLIGHT chance I was gonna try to get 100% achievements in "Escape from Ever After", but, no, they have a timed obstacle course.
No clue if it's important for achievements, but after three failed attempts, I won't try that. 😅
I have absolutely no dexterity and not even good hand-eye-coordination. I SUCK heavily at platformer games.
That's why I play this turn-based-combat game. 😅
But yeah, I generally do not play any "timed" portions of games. They stress me too much and I suck at them.
My former girlfriend was REALLY patient and persistent with such things, it was fun to watch her get better and better in timed challenges, especially with online leaderboards.

Alright, time to try "Escape From Ever After". I never played any of the "Paper Mario" games, so I have, asides from visuals, no way to compare them.
But my first impression is that all the menus are really beautiful.
More importantly:
The game automatically shows you the input icons fitting to your controller, BUT allows you to change them. Which I appreciate, because I usually change them from PS5 to PS4, because it was a damn mistake from Sony to remove the button colors!
Also, I was a bit disappointed to see no accessibility options at all, but it seems there are some as soon as you're actually playing and open the menu.
